Benefits and Obligations
The benefits of being a member of the Canadian College of Evangelical Bishops are:
- Enriching conferences and seminars tailored for the needs of the members
- Theological institutions offering high quality studies at discounted prices for the college members
- Not to mention mentorship programs that pairs starting out ministers with accomplished ministers.
- Provide those disadvantaged in life, time and resources to minimize suffering and restore hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The scope of our mandate is unlimited since we serve a mighty God. Therefore, we seek to give ourselves to prayer in order to hear clearly when the Holy Spirit gives us a new assignment.
Obligations
- Every member is expected to support the college of bishops programs
- Every member is expected to be current with their membership fees.
- Every member is expected to live up to the ethics of ministry and sound doctrine.
- Every member shall present their grievances and/or their needs to the governing council but to other college members. This will safeguard the unity of the body.
