Eligibility Criteria for Application to Bishops, Apostles, or Prophets/Prophetesses Positions with CCOEB
Essential Qualification
- Commitment to the Organization
Applicants must demonstrate unwavering dedication to CCOEB’s Pentecostal mission, vision, and values, submitting fully to the spiritual oversight of the Archbishop as Chief Prelate. - Age Requirement
Candidates must be at least 30 years old. Exceptional cases for younger, spiritually mature leaders will be considered at the discretion of the Archbishop. - Legal Standing
A clean criminal record is required, reflecting the integrity and accountability expected in spiritual leadership. - Moral and Ethical Integrity
Candidates must exhibit the highest standards of moral and ethical behavior as outlined in the CCOEB handbook, serving as spiritual role models for their diocese. - Experience in Leadership
Applicants must have substantial leadership experience in Pentecostal ministry and must not be novices in the Word of God or church governance. - Residency
Applicants must reside within or be prepared to relocate to the diocese they intend to oversee, ensuring active engagement with the local church community. - Technology Proficiency
Reliable internet access and proficiency in virtual communication tools are essential for participation in meetings and conferences with the Archbishop and other leaders. - Language Skills
Proficiency in English is required. Additional skills in languages spoken within the diocese are a plus but not mandatory. - International Travel
Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally for meetings, conferences, and other official duties under the Archbishop’s direction. - Financial Independence
Applicants should have financial stability, ensuring they can support themselves while serving in ministry. - Dress Code
Strict adherence to the official Pentecostal clergy dress code during all CCOEB conferences and events is mandatory. - Ministry Experience
A minimum of 10 years in active ministry is required, demonstrating a proven track record of faithfulness and effectiveness in Pentecostal leadership. - Evangelism Strategy
Applicants must present a clear, Spirit-led strategy for diocesan outreach, discipleship, and church growth. - Fiduciary Responsibility
Ideal candidates must demonstrate good stewardship, effectively managing church resources and leading with integrity as shepherds of the flock.
Designated Leadership Offices within CCOEB
- Archbishop (Chief Prelate)
Serves as the spiritual head and Chief Prelate of CCOEB, overseeing dioceses and providing apostolic leadership and vision to the organization. - Diocesan Bishop
Leads a specific diocese under the authority of the Archbishop, ensuring the spiritual health and growth of churches within their jurisdiction. - Suffragan Bishop
Assists the Diocesan Bishop in managing diocesan responsibilities and supporting local churches. - Apostles
Operate as church planters and overseers, extending the reach of the Gospel and establishing new ministries under CCOEB’s Pentecostal mandate. - Prophets/Prophetesses
Serve as God’s messengers, providing prophetic insight and direction aligned with the organization’s vision under the spiritual authority of the Archbishop.
