Eligibility Criteria

For Bishops, Apostles, Prophets, Prophetesses, ministers, and auxiliary members seeking fellowship and recognition within CCOEB.

Essential Qualifications

  1. Commitment to the Organization: Applicants must demonstrate dedication to CCOEB’s mission, vision, values, and spiritual oversight.
  2. Moral and Ethical Integrity: Members must uphold high standards of moral and ethical behavior.
  3. Leadership Experience: Applicants should show proven experience in ministry, service, leadership, or church governance.
  4. Ministry Accountability: Candidates must be willing to serve under proper spiritual covering and accountability.
  5. Faithfulness in Service: Applicants should demonstrate a consistent record of service, stewardship, and Christian character.

Designated Leadership Offices

  1. Archbishop / Chief Prelate: Provides spiritual headship, vision, and apostolic oversight.
  2. Diocesan Bishop: Oversees a specific diocese or region under the authority and fellowship of CCOEB.
  3. Suffragan Bishop: Assists diocesan leadership and supports churches within the region.
  4. Apostles: Serve as church planters, overseers, and mission builders.
  5. Prophets / Prophetesses: Serve through prophetic ministry, biblical exhortation, and spiritual direction.
  6. Auxiliary Members: Support the fellowship through ministry service, administration, missions, events, and local church work.

Eligibility Criteria for Application to Bishops, Apostles, or Prophets/Prophetesses Positions with CCOEB

Essential Qualification

  1. Commitment to the Organization
    Applicants must demonstrate unwavering dedication to CCOEB’s Pentecostal mission, vision, and values, submitting fully to the spiritual oversight of the Archbishop as Chief Prelate.
  2. Age Requirement
    Candidates must be at least 30 years old. Exceptional cases for younger, spiritually mature leaders will be considered at the discretion of the Archbishop.
  3. Legal Standing
    A clean criminal record is required, reflecting the integrity and accountability expected in spiritual leadership.
  4. Moral and Ethical Integrity
    Candidates must exhibit the highest standards of moral and ethical behavior as outlined in the CCOEB handbook, serving as spiritual role models for their diocese.
  5. Experience in Leadership
    Applicants must have substantial leadership experience in Pentecostal ministry and must not be novices in the Word of God or church governance.
  6. Residency
    Applicants must reside within or be prepared to relocate to the diocese they intend to oversee, ensuring active engagement with the local church community.
  7. Technology Proficiency
    Reliable internet access and proficiency in virtual communication tools are essential for participation in meetings and conferences with the Archbishop and other leaders.
  8. Language Skills
    Proficiency in English is required. Additional skills in languages spoken within the diocese are a plus but not mandatory.
  9. International Travel
    Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally for meetings, conferences, and other official duties under the Archbishop’s direction.
  10. Financial Independence
    Applicants should have financial stability, ensuring they can support themselves while serving in ministry.
  11. Dress Code
    Strict adherence to the official Pentecostal clergy dress code during all CCOEB conferences and events is mandatory.
  12. Ministry Experience
    A minimum of 10 years in active ministry is required, demonstrating a proven track record of faithfulness and effectiveness in Pentecostal leadership.
  13. Evangelism Strategy
    Applicants must present a clear, Spirit-led strategy for diocesan outreach, discipleship, and church growth.
  14. Fiduciary Responsibility
    Ideal candidates must demonstrate good stewardship, effectively managing church resources and leading with integrity as shepherds of the flock.

  1. Archbishop (Chief Prelate)
    Serves as the spiritual head and Chief Prelate of CCOEB, overseeing dioceses and providing apostolic leadership and vision to the organization.
  2. Diocesan Bishop
    Leads a specific diocese under the authority of the Archbishop, ensuring the spiritual health and growth of churches within their jurisdiction.
  3. Suffragan Bishop
    Assists the Diocesan Bishop in managing diocesan responsibilities and supporting local churches.
  4. Apostles
    Operate as church planters and overseers, extending the reach of the Gospel and establishing new ministries under CCOEB’s Pentecostal mandate.
  5. Prophets/Prophetesses
    Serve as God’s messengers, providing prophetic insight and direction aligned with the organization’s vision under the spiritual authority of the Archbishop.
